She got interested in drawing as at the very
young age of twelve and learned oil painting on her own at the

Upon receiving her diploma in visuals arts
from the cégep du Vieux Montréal she continued studying
illustration at the Collège Salette.
Marie-Andrée won a series of prizes at
different municipal exhibitions and started being noticed by art
galleries. She made her definite move to the art market at the
age of 19.
Recognizing her chance and with a lot of
ambition she still wants to learn from her work. Nowadays her
paintings are mostly acrylics with water-colour ink, a technique
which she has adopted for the richness of the colours.
